Description
This wine is a real favourite of mine and this vintage does not disappoint. The blend is approximately 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano, the later adding weight and texture. The wine features an overt lifted and lively nose of roses, red fruits, herbal, balsamic, old leather, and tobacco. At this stage it’s incredibly fresh and delightfully complex. There’s a lovely rounded and soft palate and the finish is clean and long. The wine can be drunk now with its approachable characters with fruit to the fore; that said, cellaring will flesh this out and help the soft and silky tannins fully integrate.Peter Windred, Account Manager, Berry Bros. & Rudd (February 2025)
